When Somersby had an opportunity to create a feature venue in Brisbane, it was none other than the iconic Story Bridge Hotel. Sitting beneath the Story Bridge, this pub has a huge presence in Brisbane and Somersby needed to come up with an option to glorify that whilst promoting their cider.
That’s where Facility stepped in.
Using the design strength of the existing architecture, we used nature to do the rest. Facility designed, built and installed a verdant oasis in the heart of Brisbane. With a total of five live walls encompassing the space and its very own waterfall, the beer garden has a living energy when you step inside. The bespoke garden furniture and light boxes add that little bit of sparkle to the inner city retreat.
